Weekend In Vermont - Heaven!!

We went up north last weekend and had a great time! We didnt really do anything except hang out. Scott and I actually got to sit on the porch and read after Jadie went to sleep Saturday night, we were in heaven!!

We went into Littleton and ate at the diner, went to Chutters Candy Store (with the longest candy counter in the world!) and went to the book store to get Jadie some more books (she LOVES books!). It was a totally relaxing weekend.

On the way home we stopped at Curtis's BBQ in Putney Vermont. Curtis operates out of an old schoool bus and has the best BBQ this side of California. He has a pet pig named "CJ", CJ thinks Curtis only BBQ's chicken - so if you stop by, don't let him know Curtis also does ribs!! Jadie got to pet and feed CJ and LOVED it. She also got to sample real home-made baked beans - YUM! Is she her mommy's girl or what!!

Memorial Day Weekend On LBI

Scott, Jade and I headed to Long Beach Island on Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend - yeah I know, what were we thinking - it took us 6 hours BUT we got there by 8:00 PM and were able to eat dinner with the family.

Molly flew in from Fla. so the entire Muller/Weiss/Casey Clan was together for the whole weekend. We had a blast.

Auntie Suzie bought us all outfits for the "photo shoot" on the beach (white shirts and denim) and the pictures turned out pretty well. Jadie got to swim in the bay with Bella Sera the crazy mini-hot dog-dog (the ocean was too cold), play in the sand, play with the hose at Nana and Pop Pops and totally hang out with her big cousins. She had a blast.

Needless to say we were all pooped when the weekend was over. And by the way Jadie fell more in love with her Auntie Suzie, she got to spend some quality time with her and LOVED it!
