Christmas Part 2

Here are some pictures from Christmas. Jadie wore the dress Nana gave her and even wore the hat (and yes, she wore the yellow shoes auntie suzie gave her!!)! We had a lovely breakfast at Antsie Ellens, and Jadie made cookies for Daddy. We had an awesome Christmas dinner with friends and family afterwards and the food was great. As you can see, Jade did her best at flirting with Dave. We missed all of the Jersey folks, Jadie was asking for everyone, but we'll see you this weekend Nana and PopPop!!

christmas part 1

ok here are the coolest shoes on the planet, Suzie Jade LOVES them!!! The other pictures are from last night. We went to Aunt Lorraines and Jadie got to hang out with Patrick, Eddie and Sarah. We had a blast! and Antsie Ellen stopped by after church last night too - more to come!

Big Snowstorm

It's the first snow of the season and we got about one foot of snow, it's beautiful outside. We are not sure if Ms. Jade likes the snow but she sure likes to have her picture taken!

The pink marshmallow shot's are from this morning getting ready to go to school, the other photos are from the other day. jadie is becoming quite the "fashionista", loving shoes, hats, scarves and anything that will make mommy take a picture!

OK, Ive got to figure out how to turn this around, but you can still see Ms. Jade in action.

Big Girl Bed!

Since we've been home with Jade the only way she has gone to sleep in her crib is if she was asleep BEFORE she went into the crib. It's only taken me close to a year to figure out she hates her crib. So, this past weekend I converted her crib to a "big girl bed" and boy was she happy! She squeeled with delight when she saw the bed and got in and out of it a million times. Not that she is sleeping in it, but she pretends to go to sleep in it which I think is the first step to her sleeping, period. Maybe theres finally a light at the end of the tunnel!

Now that she's a Big Girl she is also helping me in the kitchen, as you can see from the picture she has dish duty! As my parents always told me, you are never to young to start working (ha, ha, ha).
