Jade and I took our first road trip together this past weekend and took a 4 hour drive to Long Beach Island where Nana and Poppop live. What a trip. I was nervous the whole way down, Jade isnt big enough so her car seat is still rear facing. On the way down I stopped 5 times to make sure she was breathing and for a diaper change. We also tried eating some chicken Mcnuggets (yuck) at the top of the parkway because this new mom completely forgot that she needed to eat (bad mommy).
I was much better prepared for the trip back. I timed it so she would nap better and brought some food for the road. I only stopped twice :)
Jade got to see the Atlantic ocean for the first time this weekend and was also able to go to the park with her cousins and swing on a swing (a first too!) - she loved every second of her Jersey Shore vist.
We did celebrate her birthday, she didnt quite know what to make of everything. She had a great time with her cousins, they pooped her out! Enjoy the pics!!!
