So today is the anniversary of the day we received our referral for Cen Li Yi aka Jade Su Raven Casey! This year has flown and it seems as if life never existed before Jade Su. I remember when I received the call, I was at work it was 11:30, I was on the phone with the social worker for about 5 minutes. I called my dad and burst into tears and didnt stop crying for about 3 days. I feel the same way today - I started blubbering like an idiot last night while I was giving Jade a bath, and then started to cry after I dropped her off at daycare. I'm bringing tissues to work!I've also included some pictures from Thanksgiving at the beautiful Jersey Shore. We had a great time and even got Jadie into a fancy Chinese outfit. Enjoy the pictures!
Oh the shot of Jade with the glasses was from this morning, we were on the way to "school" and she needed her reading glasses! What a trip. Oh, this week also marks another milestone - Jade said her first swear word, and just for the record, she didnt learn it from me!!!
